Name: Chiku
Age: four years
Gender: mare
Breed: Appaloosa x Knabstrup
Markings: Fewspot/Leopard
Coat color: Black & White
Eye color: Blue
Personality: The 'Overbearing Aunt' type of mare. Chiku is decidedly round and short, yet retaining some feminine qualities. She likes food, both finding the sweet stuff and gorging herself on it. She is protective of her own; friendly towards strangers, but aggressive and ornery when she feels they are threatened. Chiku is the type, where if she were human, would stuff you full of rich foods to the point of bursting, and only let you leave when she feels satisfied that she has sated your appetite and then some. A bit overzealous at times, she can hound others to repent for wronging her or a family member to the point of extremes while on the opposite side of the spectrum dote on others to nearly suffocating them. She is known to hold grudges, and label all others of a family that she doesn't approve of to fill into the mold she sets for them. She's always there to comfort those she deems part of her family, which is quite large and expansive. Chiku adores foals and younger horses, and will often mother them unintentionally, gaining herself a reputation as a 'mother hen'. She is known to be a bit ignorant and superstitious; falling easily to believing rumours and gossip, while often taking old legends as fact. She means well, but can often do more harm than good. Chiku accepts the word of her superiors as law with little retaliation, even if it should be against her favour.
Physical description: Chiku is a little on the short side, standing just tall enough to be considered a horse and not a pony. Her legs are proportionately long for her height, but her body is slightly more compact than it should be; her belly is a bit more rotund, and her neck slightly too short. The given effect makes Chiku look like an overgrown Shetland, almost. If she had been born with stumpier legs, the image would be undeniable. But being the way she is, she has been blessed with at least some notable feminine features; her decidedly small and delicate head, for example. It fits where it is, but with the rest of Chiku's otherwise strangely built body, it in turn comes off as...somehow not right.
Chiku's body is fully functional, despite how awkward she may look standing still. Her gait is even and smooth, getting her where she needs to be in a timely fashion all the while looking as graceful as any other mare. Though with her being who she is, its likely she'll still find a way to make that awkward.
